Background:
Shaina received her B.S. in Biochemistry from Stonehill College (Easton, MA) in 2004. Her undergraduate research included work on organic synthesis of trifluoromethyl substituted tertiary systems under the guidance of Dr. Leon Tilley. She joined UVM's Department of Biochemistry in the Fall of 2004.
