A hearty congratulations to Dr. Paula Tracy, Professor and Interim Chair of Biochemistry, on her appointment as Foundations Director in the Office of Medical Student Education, effective January 1, 2012. In this role, Dr. Tracy will manage and lead the Foundations Level of the Vermont Integrated Curriculum, assisting course directors in the administration and evaluation of the curriculum and ensuring appropriate procedures, assessment methods and means of instruction.
By being so instrumental in the development of the Vermont Integrated Curriculum, and since its launch in 2003 having served as course director for Nutrition, Metabolism and the Gastrointestinal (NMGI) System, she was a natural choice for the position.
